Accessibility statement
We want ParentalControl.uk to be usable for all parents and guardians, including people using assistive technology. We work to WCAG 2.2 AA and publish known gaps openly so you can decide whether a page currently meets your needs.
Initiative funded and led by Dr Alex J. Martin-Smith, CMgr · MBA · LLM · DBA. Contact Alex directly at ams@upleashed.com or 0330 122 1223 / 07624 218080.
WCAG 2.2 AA target
Our target is conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA across all public guidance pages and core navigation journeys.
Current known gaps
- Some legacy pages still contain duplicate template output that can create repeated landmarks and headings.
- A small number of pages may include long tables that need clearer summaries for screen reader users.
- Some mobile navigation focus transitions need further keyboard testing across older browsers.
We prioritise fixes that block task completion, then fixes that reduce reading effort and navigation friction.
