Xbox Parental Controls: Series S, Series X and Xbox One

Step-by-step
Install the Xbox Family Settings app and sign in with your adult Microsoft account.
Add your child account as a child member in your Microsoft family group.
On Xbox open Settings, Account, Family Settings, Manage Family Members and confirm the child appears.
In the app set screen time limits, content and apps limits, privacy and online safety, and purchase approvals.
On console settings set signed-out content restrictions so guest play cannot bypass limits.
