Honest limits

What it covers and what it does not

Covers

Per-child profiles with bedtime, time limits, and content filtering. Whole-home network filtering.

Does not cover

Encrypted apps, devices not assigned to any family member, mobile data, and VPNs.

Also do this

Even with TP-Link Aginet app parental controls turned on, adding a free DNS layer adds a second line of cover and closes some of the gaps. It takes about ten minutes and works on every device on your home Wi-Fi.
