Parental controls on Hey! Broadband
Router-level controls + DNS layer recommended
Hey! Broadband covers parts of Hertfordshire, Berkshire, Surrey, and Kent. Parental controls are managed via the supplied hub's admin panel and there is no branded category-level filter. We recommend Cloudflare 1.1.1.3 on the router DNS.
How to switch it on
-
01
Sign into your hub admin at the address shown on the underside of the hub.
-
02
Find Access Control or Parental Control. Add devices and set schedules.
-
03
For category-level adult content filtering, change the hub DNS to Cloudflare for Families (1.1.1.3 / 1.0.0.3). See our /dns/ guide.
-
04
Also install Apple Screen Time or Google Family Link on each child's device.

What it covers and what it does not
Covers
Per-device schedules at hub level.
Does not cover
No branded category filter. No per-child profiles.
Add a free DNS filter
Hey! Broadband does not run a network-level parental control filter. The fastest fix is to add a free DNS filter at your router. It covers every device on your Wi-Fi in one step and takes about ten minutes.
